KuberaX did not begin as a product idea. It began in an office in Biratnagar where the phone rings all day with one question: हिसाब कस्तो छ? One man has been answering it, company by company, for a quarter of a century.
Wenex E.R.P. Solution Pvt. Ltd. is what happened when his son decided the answer should not have to wait for anybody to be sitting at a desk.
Long before there was a Wenex, there was a name that businesses in eastern Nepal called when their books stopped making sense.
T-Data Solutions has put Tally into hospitals, schools, gas plants, spice mills, hotels, hardware stores and manufacturers across the country: more than two thousand businesses, and still counting. Not sold and forgotten, but installed, customised in TDL, taught to the staff, and picked up again at nine at night when a VAT return will not agree.
That is where everything in KuberaX comes from. Every report in this app exists because a real business asked for it across a counter in Biratnagar first, and somebody stayed late to build it.
Neither of us thought Tally was the problem. We disagreed about what to do next.

Wenex E.R.P. Solution Pvt. Ltd. was registered to build it properly: a Nepali company, with a Nepali support number, writing software for the way Nepali businesses actually keep accounts.
Bikram Sambat dates, because that is the calendar the return is filed in. Lakhs and crores, because that is how the figure is read aloud. The VAT registers by the names an auditor uses. And a rule we will not break: your books stay in your Tally, on your computer. We hold a mirror, never the original.
